A black man already behind bars is now accused in the kidnapping and rape of a woman back in 2007

Donald Andtra Carr, 25, is charged with the aggravated sexual assault of an adult. According to court documents, the female victim had left work at a gentleman's club on October 17, 2007 and stopped at a nearby gas station when three males she had seen at the club approached her and forced her inside their car and drove her to an unknown apartment. The woman told investigators that the men held her at gunpoint and all three of them sexually assaulted her, court documents state. She said that Carr and the two men then carried her out of the apartment. She said that the suspects drove her back to her car. After calling police, the woman was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Memorial City for a forensic sexual assault exam. In 2010, court documents show that the DNA from the woman's case was positively matched with Carr. Investigators say Carr told them that he had been to the club that night for his birthday, but said he left with two male friends and went to his apartment. According to police, when they confronted Carr about the DNA evidence, police say that he told them he doesn't remember taking a girl home or having sex with anyone, but that he could have. Carr was convicted of rape and aggravated kidnapping in another case in 2010. He was sentenced to 20 years for the rape and five years for the kidnapping.
